Based in Fort Myers, FL, we provide a range of services to assist you with all of your dental needs. Dr. David G. Carlton and Dr. Eric W. Baxmann share over 50 years of combined experience, actively continue their dental education, and strive to build strong relationships with patients.

Dentists

Dr. David G. Carlton

Dr. David G. Carlton

David G. Carlton, son of a naval officer, grew up all along the east coast. He spent most of his youth in Florida, where his love for the water and fish flourished. After graduating from dental school at the University of Tennessee, his love for the water, the weather, and everything outdoors drew him back. He moved to Southwest Florida in 1990 and practiced dentistry here for 27 years. When he is not working, he enjoys life with his lovely wife and 7 beautiful children.

Dr. Eric W. Baxmann

Dr. Baxmann grew up in Michigan. He graduated from Albion College in 1994 and the University of Detroit Mercy Dental School in 1998. Dr. Baxmann started practicing dentistry in Southwest Florida in 1998 and joined into partnership with Dr. Carlton in 2001. His practice is centered around restorative dentistry, which allows his more mature patient population to enjoy a better quality of life. When not in the office, Dr. Baxmann most enjoys spending time with his wife, Patti, and their four children: Alivia, Carter, Lucy and Brody. He also enjoys exercise and gardening.

Hygienists

Laura Elias

Laura was born in Ohio. She moved to Fort Myers in 1989 and married her loving husband. They are blessed with two terrific grown children, a super son-in-law, and two cute cats. Laura began working at SWFL DENTAL in 2001 and is grateful to have been happily caring for our patients and helping them maintain their oral health ever since. She enjoys running, reading, gardening, and spending time with her husband, family, and friends.

Jennifer Elliott

Jennifer was born in Fort Myers, Florida, and has lived in Cape Coral her entire life. She was into fitness, cheerleading, track, and soccer growing up. In 1998, she started as a front desk receptionist in a dental office, knowing she wanted to pursue dental hygiene. In 2000 she was accepted into the Edison College dental hygiene program and graduated in 2002. She has been practicing full-time dental hygiene since then. Her other passion is group fitness. She has been a group fitness and indoor cycling instructor since 1999 and teaches 5:30 am classes before work. She is married to her loving husband Shawn and shares a son Kaleb and a daughter Taylor.

She has always had a passion for dentistry and helping people better their smiles. She strives to be as gentle as possible, maintaining a positive, communicative, trusting relationship with her patients.

Danielle Classetti

Danielle was born in Long Island, New York, and moved to Florida in her early teens. Growing up, she enjoyed playing travel soccer and getting good grades. She entered the dental field in 2002 as a dental assistant. She quickly fell in love with dentistry, continuing her dental hygiene studies, graduating from Edison college in 2005. She is married to a wonderful fireman, Nicholas. They share three children Vincent, Francesca, and Carmine. She enjoys laughing and spending time with her family and friends in her free time. Danielle treats with gentle care all who place their trust in her. She has a passion for getting to know her patients personally and educating them on how to maintain a healthy smile. The care she provides is gentle yet thorough and always done with kindness.
Kim Moller

Kim Moller

Kim was born and raised in Florence, New Jersey. After high school, she attended the dental assisting program at Mercer County community college in New Jersey. A few years later, Kim decided to continue her education in dental hygiene at Camden County College, also in New Jersey. She completed the dental hygiene program in 1991, obtaining an Associates’s degree and her license to practice Dental Hygiene. Later on, she completed a Bachelor’s degree in applied science at Thomas Edison State College in Trenton, New Jersey.

Kim moved to Florida in 2016, fulfilling a dream to live year-round in the sunshine! She began working for Dr. Carlton and Dr. Baxmann in November of 2017. She has enjoyed getting to know all the wonderful patients at the practice. She has been practicing dental hygiene for just over 30 years and is grateful for the career she chose. Educating patients on the many benefits of proper oral hygiene is her favorite rewarding aspect of her position. Since moving to Florida, Kim has become a sea kayaker, which brings her much peace and serenity. She also enjoys bird watching and her three dogs!
